Councilwoman Christi Fraga became Vice Mayor for the City of Doral. Per section 2.02(b) of the City of Doral Charter, determines that the Vice Mayor position by default rotates every year, “at the first Council meeting in the month of November, the Vice Mayor shall be appointed to serve a one year term”. Congratulations on her new title.

UHealth Medical Center is scheduled to open in summer 2022 in Downtown Doral. This important facility will include Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, a Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, specialty clinics for cardiology, neurology and primary care, four operating rooms for outpatient surgical procedures and an imaging center capable of mammography, ultrasound, MRI, CT and PET scans.
Mayor and Council approved the purchase of 41 body armors and carriers, 160 riot suits, and 50 body-worn cameras. The total investment is $322,963.
As Hurricane season is coming to an end, the shade canopies will be reinstalled at City of Doral parks in the upcoming weeks with a total investment of $58,520.
